First time director Julia Ducournau has received a lot of positive buzz on her new genre film Raw. It had its debut at Cannes this past year and has since been well received by critics and cinema goers alike. Raw has taken home some awards on the film festival circuit and was released March 10 in a couple of cities and will continue its run March 24th. This film is not for the faint of heart so before you go and check it out be warned it is very graphic and there have been reports that some theater goers have had to leave because they fell ill during their viewing. This can be a huge plus for you if you are into horror cannibal flicks or just want something different. Either way this in one film we are eager to see and hope you take advantage of this chance to see it before it opens down here in South Florida.
O-Cinema Wynwood is a great place to catch these and other art house films when you feel you need a break from the traditional movie going. Take advantage and see what all the buzz is about.
